Music To Be A Hermit To

Lets face it, 'dance' music doesn't lend itself to winter. Joints are sore, the weather's miserable, clothes are darker. These things don't match with Chicago house or electro pop; they're spouses of songs with lower BPMs and decipherable lyrics, which leads me to a few songs I was digging on a winter's afternoon and thought i'd post for you all (seeing as posting photos doesn't seem to be happening these days). So here it is, my winter guide aka music to be a hermit to.

1. The Radio Dept. - Heaven's On Fire
2. David Bowie - Jean Genie
3. Josef K - Sorry For Laughing
4. Tom Waits - Downtown Train
5. Television - Elevation
6. Cass McCombs - That's That
7. Morrissey - Hairdresser On Fire
8. The Rolling Stones - 2000 Light Years From Home
9. Roxy Music - 2HB
10. Portishead - The Rip
11. Radiohead - Idioteque
12. Brian Eno - The Big Ship
13. Air - Caramel Prisoner
